Annika Kohls

Annika has been a veterinary assistant for ACC Pingree Grove since June of 2024. Growing up in Crystal Lake IL, Annika has always had a strong relationship with animals of all kinds, especially her two pets at home. She has a toy poodle named Gipper, trained for conformation and general obedience, and a European pond turtle named Paris.

During the school year, Annika attends the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. This fall she will be entering her second year studying to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Her current academic interests include small animal general practice, hospital leadership/management, and potentially anesthesiology.”
